We have returned home from Fan Expo Toronto where John and I had an incredible weekend. We were both blown away by the attendees who turned out to meet John. Whovian fans were able to get a first-time-ever photo op with John and Freema. And although their characters haven’t met on screen in the Doctor Who Universe, John and Alex Kingston were conveniently seated next to each other on the convention floor for plenty of River Song and Captain Jack banter much to everyone’s delight. John hosted an exceptional “An Evening With” event at the Renaissance Hotel after hours on Saturday. Attendees were treated to even more outrageous storytelling and antics as well as a one-of-a-kind special outfit.
I have never seen a line like that on a Sunday afternoon. We thank you all for your and amazing energy over such a long weekend and staying positive throughout the whole convention. Special thanks to our hosts, Aman, Andrew, Karen, and the entire Informa team. It wouldn’t be Fan Expo without you!
We hope to return to this wonderful city soon!
